Pre-blogging?

Geek

Something that would be really cool is to be able to upload my 9210's calendar to my blog. So not only would my blog be a record of what has happened, it would also be a prediction of things to come. Nifty!

If only the 9210 could be coaxed to talk to other machines. It talks to *that* operating system, but given I only really use Linux on my workstations these days, that isn't that helpful. It talks TCP/IP, but only via stupidly expensive mobile calls at a snail-like 9600bits/s. I kid you not! It comes with no ethernet (physical or wireless), no USB, no Firewire, no Bluetooth and no GPRS, let alone G3. It could be such a great device if it had just *one* of those connectivity options, but instead it has a old serial connection which uses a proprietry protocol.

What a fucking letdown.
