fscking disaster
Geek
Well, now that I've moved, and my ADSL connection won't be up for another three weeks (thanks for nothing, stupid bloody Telstra), I've had to move vee.net's hardware to work to keep everything running. Here is the process I followed:
- Spend 11 hours moving all of your personal belongings from one house to another.
- Now that you are completely, utterly fatigued and exhausted, and it is 02:00 the next day, decide that now is a good time to move your domain's hardware to the office.
- Move said hardware to the office.
- Unlock the door to office.
- Enter office.
- Forget alarm code.
- Stand around waiting for the alarm shrieker to shut off and for the police and your boss to respond to the monitoring company's alert.
- Explain to your boss what you are doing at the office at two in the morning.
- Aplogolise profusely to all parties.
- Set up hardware
Easy, no?

Yeah, tell me about it. At least I won't be doing that ever again...
