a non-evil pay-pal

Geek

We all know PayPal is evil. They pretend to be a bank, but have no accountability because they aren't one. If you use them, your money is very much at risk.

This is a hassle as PayPal is a supremely useful way of transfering money internationally, say, for example, if you're buying stuff from E-Bay (who incidentally owns PayPal).

It looks like there may be a viable alternative: Moneybookers. These guys claim to be regulated by the relevant English laws, seem to be much more friendly to non-US customers and seem to be reasonably inexpensive.

Has anyone used them? Please let me know.
