ammonia
Life
I just had my old two-seater couch and armchair stain-removed and steam-cleaned. I think it was possibly one of the worst jobs the cleaners have had to do for a while. Not that there was anything particularly unsavory about state the furniture, you understand. It's just, well, both have seen quite a few good parties. The cleaning process took almost an hour and a half (twice as long as normal, apparently) and I can smell enough residual ammonia to warrant declaring the place a small-scale environmental disaster zone.
The geese next door are not amused.
Still, they seem to have turned out okay, which is good because I want to sell them: $325 for the lot, or near offer. Buyer provides transport, but I'll give you a hand getting them out of my house. :D Let me know if you're interested.

Aren't they purdy? :)
