Life

Right. Back at Uni today. My schedule is not too bad, I have all Friday clear so I can get some work done then. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are likewise good. I ended up getting three distinctions and a credit last semester (I wonder if I can get a supplementary exam for the credit?) I managed to get one or two things done of the several billion that I had in mind over the holidays. Sigh.

I seem to now be more than 28 years old. I need to stop seeing old people and thinking "they must be at least thirty!"

Err.. okay. Enough boring personal debris. On to the blatant promotional stuff.

Frequent Seahorse rocked at Supermild last Thursday (but their web site seems to be off the air for the moment) and I scored a copy of their first CD, thanks Andrew!

Go! See this band!

Ok, Your bouncy enthusiasm (a rare Mike emotional state, I've gotta say) for the Seahorse CD has convinced me. I'll go to the next gig with you - yes, the music rocks but plus it will also give me a chance to vet a certain someone as boyfriend material for Miss T! (I'm looking out for you sweetie - I don't want anymore stalker/losers/general arseholes in your life. If the words "Water Sports" are mentioned I'm not letting you near him.)
Quick grumble though: why oh why does the gig have to be at the Cranker? Tell the band if they want decent groupies, they need to play decent venues (anywhere but the C&A would be a good start).

In unrelated stuff: congrats on the uni marks Mike. And where are these mythical soup recipies? Can't find them anywhere on your site.

Ha ha! Excellent! I'll let you know the details as soon as I do. But hey, who is this boyfriend material, eh? Eh?

As for the soup: Search for "soup" at the top of the page.

If you don't know what water sports are then you don't want to know, Karenski. Trust me.
And HELLO Mike. I was trying to be all subtle and not name names with the potential boyf. But we discussed it on saturday. You were definitely physically in the room (although who knows what realms of cyberspace your mind had wandered into when we started on the girlie talk). Big Hint: Penguins
