ntfsresize
Geek
ntfsresize can be used to resize Windows disk partitions, which is useful to, say, make room on your hard drive to install Ubuntu Linux.
It's not for the faint of heart, however. Download one of the rescue CD-ROM or floppy images listed to use it.

I would have used this a lot! Cool. And I probably will again when I have a house and the resulting collection of machines.
(BTW, I have now lived sans computer for nearly five months. It's been awesome.)
(ABTW, I'm going to see if I can swing it so my new laptop is going to be dual-boot Debian/OSX and share filesystems... masochism is in this year, and no ntfsresize in sight.)

You know, I don't think I've pimped Ubuntu enough today. Check it out, I don't know if there is a live CD for PPC, but it is a first-class supported platform.
However if you're still in love with WM, you may need to go for plain old Debian. Ubuntu is Gnome-centric.
Does this mean you're now not sans-hardware anymore? How was The Rest of the World, anyway?

No, I'm still sans hardware (other, obviously, than at work). But I'm so close to going shopping you can actually, if you listen closely, hear me salivating.
WM always used to claim GNOME compatibility, though I don't know how true that is nowadays.
I think for the things I want a pretty GUI world to play in, OSX will be fine. GNOME is good, but I think I can live without it. For the rest of my life (which is to say, 80% of it), ION is still what I really want from my (non-)desktop environment.
I haven't jumped distros in a while though, so if it does have a PPC install, I shall still go and look for this Ubuntu of which you speak :)

A quick look at Ubuntu is enough to make me want to give it a go - just shopping for the aforementioned Little Titanium Thing now, actually.
w00t w00t!
PS - Happy Doomy Season Mike :)

(And yes, it clearly does have a PPC install disk.)
