I have been thinking for quite some time of printing out some flyers to keep handy, so that when I see some big fuck-off urbanised four-wheel drive (do they even bother hooking up the other two wheels these days?) I can put a flyer under under the windscreen wiper.
The actual contents of the flyer have been through a few revisions in my mind over the years, from something along the lines of "fuck off and die, motherfucker" to a more polite "please, buy a car next time" and a few in between.
But Ann just pointed me to wastemonsters.org.uk - they have PDFs of modified English parking tickets with thoughful slogans to download, print out and use.
This is an excellent idea. Does anyone have a recent Adelaide City Council ticket I can borrow? Not owing a car makes it hard for me go out and get one. I'll change the details to protect the innocent, of course. I wonder what the legalities of reproducing look-alike (but clearly fake) parking tickets are.

Bit off-topic.... I remember reading in the Adelaide city messenger? I think it was a couple of years back, an Adelaide businessman setup a pay-carpark (was on the western side of the Morphett St bridge) between the railyards and the Torrens - and he charged people for parking in his car park i think he called the company 'Adelaide City carparking' or similar.
Anyway everyone thought the parking was being provided by Adelaide City Council, and he even had parking 'fine' tickets for non-payment, created which looked identical to official A.C.C. parking fines - except you sent payment to a PO box in North Adelaide, not to the council themselves - anyway moral of the story is eventually they caught up with him and he got in plenty trouble....
So a great idea - someone else got away with it, so i recon go your hardest...

I'm pretty sure that using their exact name & logo would be a crime, but if you were to alter said name and logo slightly you'd be OK (think of all the amusing acronyms for ACC ..!) I guess they could always lodge the legal offence of 'intent to mislead', but they'd have to catch you first.
Put it this way: if those wily kids-about-town TMK can remain at large (despite the landed gentry, Old Man Withers and Michael Harbison), so can you.

I used to fantasize about this sort of thing all the time and launching an assult worldwide via pdfs. I always thought that one could put fliers which spoke of cousiling for individuals who compensate for their miserable lives with over-sized vehichles.

Ahh, good stuff Bush Voter. But to think they could have saved themselves all that pain and sufering; if they didn't buy a vehicle which has no real purpose other than screaming "fuck you" at their fellow motorists, none of this would have happened in the first place.

umm.. i think you should get some transparent adhesive print media. flip your "fuck you" graphics/slogans along the vertical axis. then print , peel and plaster. put them behind the bars.
