emacs cvs (v22) vs jde

Geek

I decided to compile Emacs from CVS again to get the GTK frontend back. This is easy enough using Jérôme Marant's very useful build-emacs-snapshot.sh script. Of course, the reason I stopped using the GTK frontend was because some time ago, JDE stopped working with Emacs CVS.

In the interests of having the fix documented for the next time I have to do this (it is annoyingly hard to find), I had to apply this patch to /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/jde/jde.el from the Debian/Ubuntu jde package.

Hopefully a new version of JDE will be packaged soon as the problem has already been fixed in JDE CVS.
