all the president's blogs
Life
As reported elsewhere, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran has a blog.
It seems to be running on Windows, using IIS 5.0. It doesn't seem to be working very well, however:
mjg@continuity:~$ telnet www.ahmadinejad.ir 80 Trying 217.218.165.53... Connected to www.ahmadinejad.ir. Escape character is '^]'. GET / HTTP/1.1 Host: www.ahmadinejad.ir HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Date: Tue, 15 Aug 2006 12:48:50 GMT X-Powered-By: ASP.NET X-AspNet-Version: 1.1.4322 Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 3026 [snip]

Hopefully he too gets lots of comment spam in his moderation queue.

I think he's going to have enough trouble wading throughn the flames, let alone the spam - especially if Ehud Olmert also gets a blog.

Hey - that's not on! There are provisions in the Microsoft license to specifically exclude you from using Windows if you're a citizen in Cuba, Iran or North Korea! The Iranian head of state is violating the terms of the license agreement. Get Kofi on the phone right away!

You mean he's running a pirated copy!?

No, *worse*. He's violating his EULA!

Also: "X-Powered-By:" may just be the lamest HTTP header I have ever seen.
